THURSDAY FULL REHEARSAL!

Hey guys!

Just a quick reminder, we're having our SECOND FULL REHEARSAL this THURSDAY from 7:00PM-10:00PM!

We are meeting at VKC! The format will be the same except the order for the group specific times will be as follows:

7:00-8:00 ~ SoTrad (end portion dedicated to Kamigami no Uta)
8:00-9:00 ~ Taiko (beginning portion dedicated to Kamigami no Uta)
9:00-10:00 ~ KBD

FOR KBD ~ Please practice w/ Elise whenever you are free! I know she sent out an email already, but just as a reminder.

FOR TAIKO ~ From my understanding you will be going over Yatai and the Relay for Life and TroyPhi CN performances as well.

FOR SOTRAD ~ We will hopefully have the mix for our set by Thursday. I'll send it out once I get it. Please be prepared to work on transitions between the pieces, to work on movement within Yosakoi Soran, and to clean each piece. We only have an hour, so we're gonna have to make good use of it!

Please EAT DINNER BEFORE REHEARSAL! You won't have time during the practice to run off and get food.

ALSO! If you bought something at OFFICER AUCTION please PAY PIKACHU (AKA MARIO). If you don't know how much you owe, ask him! The money from officer auction helps to pay for our AWESOME Culture Night so please pay up!

Great Job Guys!

First off, THANK YOU for all the hard work you put in today! I know it was a very LONG rehearsal, but I feel like we've accomplished a lot!

Hopefully you guys will be able to get enough rest before our next rehearsal on THURSDAY, April 2nd, 2009 from 7:00PM-10:00PM! Rehearsal will be in VKC again. Please try to be on time since it is only a 3 hour long rehearsal.

Please let me, or your group coordinators know if you will be unable to make this rehearsal.

Keep an eye out for emails with important details! ^__^

Full Rehearsal #1

Our first Full Rehearsal is THIS SUNDAY (3/29) from 2:00-8:00PM!

The tentative schedule is as follows:

2:00PM ~ Rehearsal Begins
2:00PM - 5:00PM ~ Skit (Runthrough w/o performances #1)
(2:00PM - 4:00PM ~ KBD specific rehearsal time)
(4:00PM - 5:00PM ~ Taiko (Yatai) specific rehearsal time)
5:00PM - 6:00PM ~ Dinner
6:00PM - 8:00PM ~ Skit (Runthrough w/o performances #2)
(6:00PM - 7:00PM - Taiko/SoTrad (Kamigami No Uta) specific rehearsal time)
(7:00PM- 8:00PM - Taiko/SoTrad (Yosokoi Soran) specific rehearsal time)

I've set aside specific times for each performance group for those who are in more than one group. Basically, this is to ensure that each group has the opportunity to work with all of its members. So for example, if you are in KBD and Taiko (Yatai), please make sure to rehearse w/ KBD from 2:00-4:00PM and w/ Taiko (Yatai) from 4:00-5:00PM.

If this doesn't make sense, let me know!

Finally, there's only an hour set aside for dinner (I'm being generous about this). If you could bring food with you, that would be awesome. I know it's going to be hot outside so it might not work so well if you don't have a cooler...

KBD Practice Tomorrow!

There will be KBD practice tomorrow at 8:00PM! Note that the time has changed for tomorrow!

Sean will be leading this practice !and will hopefully be teaching new choreo. Please be on time for practice!

It's Break Time (but keep practicing....)!!!

First, I want to with you all a wonderful SPRING BREAK!

But even though it's your break (or at least it's supposed to be) from schoolwork and CN Practices, PLEASE keep practicing! Once we get back from Spring Break we have ONLY 3 WEEKS until showtime!

OMGZZZ IT'S ALMOST HERE! ^_^

T-Shirts and TED Workshop!

First off, I want to thank you guys for making our CN Retreat super awesome! Everyone (especially our lovely tour guides) were VERY surprised that everyone was on time. Good job everyone!

I just wanted to remind you guys that TOMORROW is our TED Workshop. It'll start at 7:00 PM and end relatively early (7:30 PM or 8:00 PM). Please wear comfortable clothing if you can because we will be moving around!

I will bring the CN T-Shirts with me, so for those of you who didn't get a shirt, bring $6! Also, for those who already received a shirt but didn't pay, please bring your $6! I don't want to chase after y'all for money.
